6. Reports From Outside Bodies.
a.) Opening of Care Home.
Cllr Rashid informed
members that he attended the opening of a new care home in Solihull.
b.) Remembrance Sunday Service.
Cllr Rashid informed members that he attended the Remembrance Service hosted by Castle Bromwich Parish Council.
c.) Birmingham Airport
Cllr J Wilson stated that he had attended the meeting and reported that
they had predicted 13 million passengers passing through the airport up to April 2018, and that they have already achieved
this figure. German Airline are flying to Berlin between 3 December and 7 January. Emirates
have a second A380 to Dubai starting October 2017. Jet2 doubling their aircraft and flying to Dusseldorf,
Bahrain, Venice with 55,000 extra seats over the winter. Premium Air flying to Toronto from May on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
and a new service to the US from May. SAS flying to Stockholm and Thompson increasing flights to the Canaries.
Tui have taken over the Monarch desk.

It was RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the Finance and General Purposes Committee meeting held on
Monday 6th November 2017 be received and the recommendations contained
therein be adopted.
a.) Minute number 3.a.) Meeting with School and Solihull.
Members were informed that the Clerk had not received any update from Anthony Watson regarding the schools proposals
for the academy.
Minute number 3.b.) Parking in Isis Grove.
Members were informed that there
was nothing more to report at this time.
